Terms & conditions

Last updated: 19 September 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to all purchases in the online shop and to custom rug commissions between [Firmenname], Einzelunternehmen ("we") and our customers ("you"). We only deliver within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

2. Offer and contract

Shop: the rugs shown are a binding offer. The contract is concluded when you complete the purchase by paying. As each piece is one of a kind, it is briefly reserved for you during checkout.

Custom rugs: your request is not binding. After reviewing your design we send you a quote with price, size and estimated delivery time. The contract is only concluded once you accept the quote in writing (email is fine). We may decline requests without giving reasons.

3. Prices

All prices are final prices in Swiss francs (CHF). We are not registered for VAT; no VAT is charged. Any shipping costs are shown separately before you complete your order.

4. Payment

In the shop you pay by credit/debit card or TWINT through our payment provider Stripe. For custom rugs we may ask for a deposit; the details are in the quote.

5. Delivery

We ship with Swiss Post. Shop rugs usually ship within 5 working days of payment. For custom rugs the delivery time in the quote is an estimate, as each piece is made by hand. Benefit and risk pass to you on delivery.

6. Returns

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. You may nevertheless voluntarily return a shop rug within 14 days of receipt, unused and in perfect condition; you pay the return shipping. We refund the price within 14 days of receiving it. Custom rugs are made for you personally and cannot be returned.

7. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights under Art. 197 et seq. CO apply, for two years from delivery. Please check the rug on arrival and report defects promptly. Handmade characteristics such as slight irregularities in the pile, small colour differences compared to your screen, and normal wear are not defects. We remedy defects at our choice by repair, replacement or a price reduction; for a significant defect you may withdraw from the contract.

8. Designs and rights

By uploading a design you confirm that you hold the necessary rights (e.g. copyright and trademark) and that it doesn't infringe third-party rights. You indemnify us against third-party claims. We may photograph finished pieces and show them on our website and social media unless you object.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for personal injury remains unaffected.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively, excluding the Vienna Convention (CISG). For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies (Art. 32 CPC).

In case of discrepancies between language versions, the German version prevails.
